Meet your writer
Hi, I’m Hal Arbor. My insatiable curiosity and passion for writing have led me just about everywhere, but most notably into natural sciences and the great outdoors.
With an early interest in the outdoors and a winding, rocky path from horticulture to hydroponics to biomolecular engineering to landscaping, my life is tied to nature. So is my writing. With over a decade of green industry experience in my back pocket, my Bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing has been used primarily to write about nature, my experiences in it, and why it’s important to protect it. Some of this comes in the form of passionate social media posts, memoirs about bikepacking trips, heavily researched essays on the ethics of biotech, and is interlaced through short stories, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that I love all things green.
For years, I’ve combined my knowledge and experience to craft high-quality copy for green companies, anywhere from landscaping to climate tech, and everything in between.
